On July 5, Rotary International President Jennifer Jones will be in Canada's largest city to showcase the impact of Rotary's many projects and partnerships. Events include the Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup, Rotary's food packing with Kids Against Hunger Canada and an Imagine Rotary BBQ. 
 
There are lots of opportunities for you to be involved and showcase the best of Rotary to our community. 
Rotary Watershed Cleanup
 
This effort that has grown from a District 7090 service project covering a small portion of Lake Ontario and Erie to a multi-district plan to focus Rotarians’ attention to all five of the Great Lakes and streams and waterways feeding them.

  • Where: Sunnyside Park / Sir Casimir Gzowski Park 
  • When: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

There is no local D7080 Watershed clean-up event.
Rotary Food Packing with Kids Against Hunger

 

Join us in a food packing initiative that engages community members to address hunger in Canada and around the world. The goal is to pack 117,000 highly-nutritious, life-saving meal packs in recognition of Rotary's 117th birthday.  If you aren’t familiar with a food packing event entails, click here.

District 7080 Event:
  • Where: GEM Limousine (4325 Harvester Road, Unit 18C, Burlington, ON  L7L 5M4)
  • When: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (setup @ 10 am – volunteers are req’d)

Imagine Rotary BBQ
 
Main Event:
President Jennifer will close out the day wtih a fun-filled Imagine Rotary BBQ hosted at the Toronto Botanical Garden. She can't wait to celebrate with you!
