On Saturday, January 16th, the Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale hosted a drive-thru coat drive to collect winter coats for the annual Fight The Cold Coat Drive. Fight The Cold Coat Drive is an initiative led by Mississauga community volunteer Leslie Silvestri. Every year, Leslie collects gently used winter coats for those in need. Due to the pandemic, this year's need is much greater.
RCMM collected over 200 coats in the parking lot of Streetsville United Church. The club would like to thank Streetsville United and all the Rotarians and community members who donated and helped with this event. Your kindness is appreciated.
