What is Vocational Services?
Vocational Service – The Gateway to Rotary in Action is the Second Avenue of Service. It signifies second and third pillar of Object of Rotary. It calls on every Rotarian to put their skills, talents, expertise, values, and strengths for the good of others and build stronger, fairer, and more compassionate communities.
Vocational service is not only about what you do for a living; it is about how you practice your work with Integrity and purpose; a desire to share what you know best and to help others grow through Service, Creativity, and leadership.
All members have a dual responsibility: to represent their vocation within their club and to exemplify the ideals of Rotary in their place of work.
In Brief, Through Vocational Service We:
- Serve others by using our unique skills to address community needs
- Empower others through training and skill development
- Inspire others to act with integrity by following Rotary’s guiding principles

Rotary emphasizes integrity and high ethical standards. To uphold that The Rotarians are guided by the moral compass The Four-Way Test and the Rotary Code of Conduct.
The Rotary Code of Conduct defines how we behave and carry out our working in alignment with Rotary values.
Everyone in any Occupation or field, can turn ability into service- and service into hope.
