Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) – Parts 1, 2 and 3
When: Saturday, October 19 (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Where: The Family Centre (65 Hanson Avenue, Kitchener)
What: RLI is a series of three, one-day workshops made up of fast-paced and interactive sessions.  This program will provide you with insights on leadership skills, helping you to be a more effective leader in Rotary and professionally.  It will also increase your base of Rotary knowledge wherever you are on your Rotary journey.
 
You must have completed the prior part(s) to take the next higher part and can only take one part per day.  You can take an RLI workshop in any district.  Click here for a list of RLI offerings in neighbouring districts.

2020

President Elect Training
When: Saturday, February 8 (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Where: Sunbridge Hotel & Conference Centre Kitchener (30 Fairway Road South, Kitchener)
What: A one-day interactive training seminar for incoming Club Presidents.  Topics include a detailed review of the role, responsibilities and challenges of a Club President, motivating volunteers, growing membership and an introduction to the Rotary Foundation.  This is a great opportunity to meet other President Elects from the district and cluster as well as an opportunity for incoming leaders to begin to build their personal plan for their upcoming year.
 
Multi-District President Elect Training
When: Friday & Saturday, March 1 & 2
Where: Bank of Montreal, Institute for Learning (3550 Pharmacy Ave, Scarborough)
What: Along with those from neighbouring districts, this program continues the leadership development for incoming Club Presidents focusing on the skills of goal setting, strategic planning and developing your club leadership plan.
 
District Assembly/Club Leadership Training (DA/CLT)
When: Saturday, April 4 (8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Where: Sunbridge Hotel & Conference Centre Kitchener (30 Fairway Road South, Kitchener)
What: A one-day jam-packed training event designed to help all incoming Club Presidents, committee chairs, Board members, and would-be leaders in their club fulfill the various positions required to run a club (including the roles of Secretary, Treasurer and other committees like Youth Services, Community Service and more).  This event is mandatory for all incoming Club Presidents.
 
Through 20+ sessions on a wide variety of topics, this program will cultivate greater interest and involvement on the part of all Rotarians, whether you are new, relatively new or seasoned.  Newer members will be better informed as they look to the future and consider taking on a role and seasoned club leaders will benefit from new ideas. CLT is a great avenue for all Rotarians to better understand the machinery of Rotary and help their club remain vibrant and effective.
