Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale
On Saturday, October 3rd, club members from the Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale contributed funds to Feed Mississauga to provide 640 meals to Mississauga residents in need. Feed Mississauga began as a special initiative to help families in Mississauga during the pandemic.
The club was able to contribute funds that were raised through charity bingo at Rama Gaming and matched by a special covid Rotary district grant to fund 640 hot meals.
The RCMM team was out at the Mississauga Convention Centre on October 3rd to help deliver the meals across their community. Helping hands were received from Peel Regional Police and the Mississauga Fire Department.
A special visit from Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie was appreciated. Sincere thanks go to the team at Feed Mississauga, the Mississauga Convention Centre, Peel Regional Police, Mississauga Fire Department, and Mayor Bonnie Crombie.
