Collaborating With the Town of Shelburne
On July 8, President Bill Waite and members of the Rotary Club of Shelburne had the opportunity to give Shelburne Town Council a comprehensive update on the Club’s activities both in the community and further afield.
The Town, through its Economic Development Committee, partners with Rotary on a fundraising golf tournament, as well as supporting the Club’s fundraisers through grants and in-kind promotion. The visit to Council culminated with a cheque presentation for $20,000 to fund enhancements for the Splash Pad that opened in 2023 (for which Rotary led the $300,000 fundraising campaign and contributed $60,000).
