Youth Exchange Student Meets Ontario Premier
The Inbound Student from Denmark Aksel Ebbe attended the International Plowing Match in Bowling Green Ontario, where he helped decorate the float for the Green Party and walked the parade route and handed out stickers and buttons. He also met Mike Schreiner, a member of the Rotary Club of Guelph, (honourary) .
For lunch he tried a Corn Dog for the first time. He was happy to visit the many display booths and received a free pair or work gloves from one. It was a beautiful autumn day in the country.
How many young people can say they have met the Premier of Ontario? Premier Ford spoke highly of Rotary, having been a Rotary member of Etobicoke. Premier Ford also suggested that a photo be taken to commemerate the occasion.
