Rotary Club Oakville Trafalgar Partners with PCM and Oakville Scouts to Build Birdhouses
The Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar has been building birdhouses as a small fundraiser and environmental project for the past couple of years. Recently one of their members was able to get PCM (Builder of the Princess Margaret Homes in Oakville) to donate enough wood for 100 birdhouses, but wanted some of the wood to be used to get younger people involved.
The Rotary Club partnered with the Oakville Scouts and Rotaract and trained them on how to build the bird houses. Rotary also donated enough kits for the Scouts to build 35 houses as part of earning badges.
PCM was also there and created a video documenting the day's activities.
