Bolton Rotary Supports Youth in Our Community!
The Rotary Club of Bolton has had great success with their Caledon Kids First Program! It is a funding program in sports and wellness programs for families in need. Youth have participated in dance, soccer, karate, skating, baseball, hockey, music, swimming, etc. and over 5 years we have sponsored 155 youth under 18.
The Humberview Alphadogs robotics team are on their way to the FIRST World Championships again this year. We have been a diamond sponsor for 10 years and seen the passion, achievement and commitment these students have to the project. To reciprocate, members of the group volunteer at many of our events year-round.
Bolton Rotary supports Humberview Secondary School with four $1,000 scholarship awards to high achieving graduates.Caledon Cavaliers Rugby team was looking for storage and new goal posts so we partnered with Palgrave Rotary to do just that!The Haunted Hill Run/Walk is targeted toward families to get their kids involved in active wellness and a fun event to dress up in costume for our annual 5 km and 1 km Fun Run.
This year we hosted and billetted Youth Exchange candidates for a weekend of training.….Just a few of our initiatives for youth. These heartfelt programs need little promotion as it’s all about the kids.
