The Rotary Club of Brampton South

We celebrated five decades of service, fellowship, and community impact with a memorable event which was a proof to five decades of dedicated service, community impact, and fellowship. The celebration was a splendid affair, bringing together past and present members, District and community leaders, and friends of Rotary. Highlights of the event included a reflective look back at the club's achievements over the years, a showcase of our club's History Since our founding in 1974, our club has been dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others, both locally and globally.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address by Valerie Wafer; RI Vice-President 2021-22, RI Director and DEI Chair, whose inspiring words set a tone of reflection and renewed commitment for the future.

The changeover ceremony, presided over by District Governor Sohail Naseer, was a significant moment as outgoing President Dr. Kiranjit Duggal handed over the reins to the incoming President Norman Latimer. The ceremony was further honored by the presence of Mayor Patrick Bone. A poignant moment of the evening was dedicated to paying tribute to our long-standing member, God Latimer who, was remembered for his immense contributions and lasting impact on the club.

As we celebrated this golden milestone, the Rotary Club of Brampton South reaffirms its dedication to making a positive difference in our community and beyond. Thank you to all who have supported us on this remarkable journey. Here’s to another 50 years of service and fellowship.
