In Support of Shelburne Food Bank Rescue Van
The Rotary Club of Shelburne’s first Nutcracker Gala, held on November 16, received overwhelming support form the community.
The event, which sold out well in advance, contributed to Rotary’s pledge to the Shelburne Food Bank Rescue Van fundraising campaign. We are proud to say that the Gala not only helped complete Rotary’s $20,000 commitment to the van but also produced an additional $11,500 donation (including the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle) to the Food Bank.
Thank you to all those who attended, donated a silent or live auction item, donated financially, sponsored the welcome cocktail, and gave of their time and talents to make this event extra special.
As always, the Shelburne Golf and Country Cub made us a superb meal with topnotch service and ensured the experience was perfect.
An extra special thank you to Bailey Mills, James O’Connor, Jamie McCutcheon, Leonard Guchardi, Linsey Beckett and Raeburn Ferguson who entertained us and made the evening run smoothly
