The Rotary Club of Guelph South's Inaugural Brunch at the Barn Fundraising Event a Complete Success
The Rotary Club of Guelph South hosted its inaugural Brunch at the Barn fundraising event on June 4th,2023. We are excited to announce that we made almost $30,000, far exceeding our original goal of $20,000! And we are so happy to inform you that all proceeds raised will be distributed among the Club’s variety of local and international charities. “This money will go a long way to help our charities self-sustain themselves and continue helping the needy” remarks Martin Litchfield, President.
An addition to the Live Auction were special packages by each of five charities, Food for Kids, Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Training Center, McDonald House, Elora House, and Bracelet of Hope. What a day of amazing fundraising for our charities! Not only did we surpass our original financial goal, but also saw a record-breaking 150 guests who enjoyed a brunch buffet, the fantastic background music by Michael McGuire, the popular photos at the Red-Carpet of guests attending the event, compliments of Guelph Today and so much more!
All in all, comments from guests were positive and they are anxiously awaiting next year’s Brunch at the Barn set for September 2024.
