Annual surveys

We conduct annual surveys about our organization and members in order to build a stronger Rotary.

The Programs and Offerings Survey is sent in March to a sample of Rotary members to gather feedback about Rotary’s programs. Read the 2025 report.

The Leadership Survey is sent in April to all current district governors, regional leaders, club presidents, and club executive secretaries to learn about their leadership experience. Read the 2025 report.

Rotary's Member Experience Surveys (previously All-Member Surveys) are sent periodically to allow members to share what they like about being members, how they feel about the value of membership, and how their membership experience could be improved. The surveys are sent to random samples of members with active email addresses who have not opted out of receiving Rotary communications. Members can sign in to My Rotary and update their email address to be eligible for sample selection.

2025 Member Experience Survey - Rotaractor Report (English only)

The 2025 Rotary Zone 8 Regionalization Surveys were distributed to regional leaders and club presidents in Zone 8 in November 2025. Read the report.

Grant Model Evaluation
The global grant model receives a full evaluation every five years as well as an annual progress report that provides initial findings and critical information about the grants program. Read the year five report.

Action Plan
Action Plan research is ongoing. This overall report collects the findings from the 2024 Rotary Action Plan Survey, the 2024 Rotary Participant Survey, and the 2024 General Interest Survey. This research was conducted from January to May 2024. Read the report.

Club Experience
At a convention session hosted by Research & Evaluation, attendees were asked to share examples from their clubs of how they have improved meeting enjoyment, belonging/comfort, confidence in club leadership, or club responsiveness to feedback. Read the analysis and all comments here.
