Our District Governor for 2021-22 will be Rudy Habesch of the Rotary Club of Oakville.
Rudy joined Rotary in 1994 with the Rotary Club of Amman Jerash in Amman Jordan. After moving to the Rotary Club of Amman Cosmopolitan in 1996, he became club President in 2003-04.
Rudy started the Gift of Life Amman (GOLA) Project helping children suffering from congenial heart defects receive life saving heart surgery. He later helped to establish the Gift of Life Charitable Society, registered through the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan, and affiliated with the Gift of Life International Project started by the Rotary Club of New York.
In 2009, Rudy joined the Rotary Club of Oakville, where he is a Past President. He is also a past Assistance Governor for the Oakville Cluster. Rudy is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.
In his professional life, Rudy is a real estate broker. Among other career experiences, Rudy has also been a consultant for those considering international expansion, an interpreter, and a managing director for Heidelberg Jordan.
Rudy is married to Lina, and has 3 children. Please welcome and support Rudy as our District Governor Nominee Designate.
