An interview with Louise Gardiner, recent winner of the Rotary Club Builder Award
Last year the Rotary Club of Kitchener attracted 17 new members to their club. These results come at a time when many clubs in North America struggle to attract any new members. Intrigued by their success I met with Louise Gardener, Past Club President of Rotary Kitchener, to discuss the steps her club takes to attract and retain members. In June 2022 Louise earned a Rotary Club Builder Award as a testament to her efforts through her club.
Our discussion lasted well over half an hour and is as informative as it is engaging. Below is a link to Part-One of our chat; it covers attracting new members. Part-Two will follow in the December D7080 Bulletin and will cover ideas that Rotary Kitchener uses to help with member retention.
