We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals that have expertise and experience in Hybrid Meetings!

The Membership and PR Committees are looking to create a temporary sub-committee to help clubs explore the power of hybrid meetings.  The goal of the sub-committee is to provide expertise and hands-on support to clubs to ensure their initial hybrid meetings are as good as they can possibly be.  The sub-committee will run from November 2021 to March 2022.

The move to hybrid meeting is a great opportunity for clubs in our district.  If executed well, hybrid meetings have the potential to grow membership by making Rotary more appealing to more people. Hybrid meetings are also a great risk.  If executed poorly, we may lose members who become disengaged due to communication issues.

A good hybrid meeting is NOT like a regular meeting where a few members happen to Zoom-in. A good hybrid meeting allows ALL in-person and online attendees feel that they are one cohesive group. Good hybrid meetings require changes in meeting behaviors, as well as new commutation technology.

We are looking for 2 or 3 individuals that have expertise and experience in this area. They must also have the flexibility and time to train club members who are willing to become hybrid meeting ‘Producers’. (….They will need to attend the initial hybrid meeting for each club that is looking for help.)

If you'd have what it takes, we ‘d LOVE to hear from you.  Please contact us at: connects@rotary7080.org
