Syd Harmon Tribute Night
Syd Harmon has been a truly Committed Rotarian for almost four decades :
- A charter member of Brampton Heart Lake Rotary Club
- A Past District Governor for D7080
- District Foundation Committee
- Paul Harris Society Chair
On Friday 20th September, many people came to a Tribute Dinner to recognize the immense contribution that Syd has made to the local and Rotary community. Thank you Syd, Mr. Rotary !
Several Past District Governors made the long drive to Brampton Heart Lake’s home in the Snelgrove Community Centre and there were many former club members including two of the Charter Members: Carol MacMurchy ad Brian Carmichael.
Syd was joined by his wife, Heather and his two daughters: Cindy and Stephanie.PDG Bob Palmateer and PDG Norm Bindon who was MC for the evening recounted how hard working and selfless Syd had been not just in Rotary but in other volunteer capacities. Truly “Service Above Self”.
