Promoting Growth and Learning in Guyana

When she was a young girl growing  up in a small village in Guyana, Canada-based Guyanese Eshranie Dhori spent a lot of time reading,  visualizing, and imagining herself in  many of the places described in the books. Today, she has created a  space where she can do the same for children in her village. Eshranie is a member of Brampton Centennial Flower City Rotary Club and has received support from them  to build Little Libraries in Guyana.

On Saturday 16th September, Eshranie led a team to  generate a lot more money for the cause at the first  Walkathon in Erindale Park, Mississauga. They had a  glorious day and attendees and walkers had a fun time  with Guyanese food, a raffle and baked goods from a stall  manned by “Humanitarian Teens”. An amazing effort from everyone involved.
