The IT Committee will focus on ClubRunner, Zoom and Google Workspace, and help with cybersecurity, account creation and deletion, password resets, and all Technical requests. Committee members will also provide A/V Support at District Events. Previously these tasks were handled by the Public Relations (PR) Committee.

The IT Committee will also work with the District Training Committee to create new opportunities for learning for all members and executives at the club-level and at the district-level.

The Public Relations Committee will continue to focus on producing Content on the 7080 website, helping District Committees with creating and publishing stories, updates and curating information, overall District event marketing, and more traditional social media and website-based communications.

Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly complex and evolving rapidly. Rotary District 7080 has trained IT professionals as their full-time vocation. Through the creation of this new IT Committee both committees (IT and PR) will now be empowered to play to our unique strengths: technology and content.
