The Interact Club of Oakville Trafalgar High School has been officially established. The charter ceremony took place on Monday October 27th.
Presidents Lily Vien and Salman Mahmood and VicePresident Gavin Yin, have established a new Board of Directors and have great plans for this Interact Club and with the support from their new Teacher Advisor- Mrs Robinson, the club has started a new promising chapter. The Board is composed of Grade 10 and 11 students who are very motivated and will be inspired by their leaders to take the club to new heights.
Both Presidents attended the first run of the Interact Leadership Program in September and they are certainly putting the learned skill to work.
Rotarians Dr. Liliana Chocarro (Youth Chair from Rotary Club Oakville Trafalgar and District Interact Chair), Dr. Dianna Dinevski (President of the Rotary Club Oakville Trafalgar), Mies Ross (Ditrict Youth Chair) and District Governor Susanne Zinbden attended the ceremony and proudly presented the certificate to the Presidents and pins to all members of the OTHS Interact club.
