Bolton Rotary's Efforts to Increase Public Awareness

The Bolton club has been working on increasing our community awareness and public image around town.  Let’s take a walk and see it from a residents' perspective…Walking from Rotary Place (our meeting headquarters) we see a huge logo that showcases The Bolton Rotary Youth Centre, along the path is a series of branded bus shelters.   I have just reached the Peace Park and it is looking great with beds of Black-eyed Susans and lots of native wildflowers from the Butterfly Way.  Better check my time and see if I can continue…looks like I have a new Facebook entry from Bolton Rotary about their upcoming Electrify Caledon volunteer BBQ event.  Up the hill I see branded planters filled with flowers, such a nice touch to beautify our community.   I have just enough time to walk along the Murray Stewart Trail and have a rest on the John William bench…both dedicated to long-time Rotarians in our club.  Whew, good thing I brought enough water for my expedition around the town.  I feel proud of our efforts and wonder what the next idea we’ll have to add to showcase Rotary!
