The Rotary Club of Mississauga Streetsville organized a Fundraising Seminar on January 29, 2026. Financial Consultant Pierre Wong made a presentation on The Secret of Success Through Charitable Giving as one of the Financial Planning Strategies
Prior to the presentation were the memorable moments. It was an honor to have District Governor Susanne Zbinden to preside over the ceremony. New member Jeydeep Patel was inducted into our Club. District Governor presented to him a badge and Club President Irene Chu to him a certificate. Club members Javed Khitab and Jonathan Pereiea were awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Blue Stone Lapel Pin. This is a great recognition to Rotarians. They received the Pin individually from District Governor. Congratulations!
The Club took the opportunity to showcase to the guests the community services performed in the past months, at the same time broadcasted a video on the charitable activities done globally by Rotary.
There were about 60 guests attending. Among them were Rotarians, executives from charitable organizations, staff from sponsors, friends and potential members. Networking went on during dinner time. It was a great turn out.
The funds raised will go towards the benefit of local communities in Mississauga. A big thank you to all who contributed and made this event successful. Thank you so much.
