The project started about 1977 and has continued without interruption. The goal is to recycle books to keep them out of the landfill while also reselling the donated books to new readers at an inexpensive price. The Club raises about $4,000 from this project which ran from October 17-20 at the local Town Centre Mall. It also provides a means of publicizing the work of the local Rotary Club and invites people to join us.
