2022 Project in South Africa - by the Rotary Club of Belleville : Project Name - "Pediatric and special needs Dental Unit"

To install the first special needs and paediatric Dental Clinic at UWC we are looking for partner clubs and organizations to support us. This project at approx. R1.30m / US81 500 will change lives in an underserviced area of health care

2022 Project in Mexico - by the Rotary Club of Cambridge Preston-Hespeler : Project Name - "Feeding the Future"

Project: Providing 96 children with healthy, nutritious meals 6 days a week, at a cost of $1,200 USD per month. While this may not seem like much, for our small club, with limited fundraising opportunities, it is a struggle to sustain. For this reason, we are reaching out to other Rotary Clubs who may consider “Feeding the Future” as an ongoing international project.

2022 Project in Kenya - by the Rotary Club of Brampton : Project Name - "Digital Literacy for Schools Project"

The Rotary Club of Nairobi - Lang’ata (RCL), plans to develop and implement a Digital Literacy for Schools Program that seeks to install ten public primary schools across the country with computer laboratories. The objective of this program is to improve access to digital literacy for the rural poor children and close the digital divide while providing them with skills to make them for competitive in the global platform.

Through this initiative we aim to;

Work with the Kenyan government, implementing partners, donors, well-wishers, and other partners to build and maintain model computer labs.
To provide enriched learning resources and content for use in teaching students.
To build the capacity of teachers in the targeted schools to teach through digital tools.
To provide sustainable, long-term maintenance of these digital spaces.

Detailed Proposal

Project: Making the lives of children who are out of school because of sheer poverty. The organization is called TAKMIL (Teach A Kid Make Individual Life). It is a not-for-profit organization, founded in Pakistan 2017 to bring a positive change in the society through education.

The Host Committee is seeking funds for improvement work related to washrooms, electrical work, school furniture upgradation of school science labs and library. Thus providing better school environment in such a manner that students and their parents are inclined to come to school. Emphasis is also on Teachers’ Training through F2F and digital devices. Training for community is also part of this project. During Community Need Assessment phase 5 Schools out of following 9 will be selected and included in the scope of this project:
