Robert Galloway

Robert "Rob" Galloway will be our Rotary 7080 District Governor in 2027-2028. Rob has been a Rotarian for many years, and he is currently a proud member of Fergus-Elora Rotary.

 

He is the first District Governor for Rotary 7080 from the Fergus-Elora club.

 

Rob is the past president of Fergus-Elora Rotary, where he served from 2021-2022. Rob is also the past-president of Burlington-Central Rotary where he served in 1993-1994. Subsequently, he is an honourary member of Burlington-Central Rotary.

 

Rob's work at the District level became more in-depth when he served as Assistant / Area District Governor for the Oakville and Burlington Cluster in 1994-1995, and again in 1995-1996.

 

Rob is a major Rotary International Foundation donor, a Paul Harris Society member, and a Polio Plus Society member. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow recipient -- which is Rotary's highest recognition.

 

He enthusiastically served at the Rotary International Convention District 7080 Chair in 2024-2025. The same year he also chaired the Paul Harris Society for Rotary District 7080.

 

Rob has been a member of the Peace Committee (2023-2025), Finance Committee (2024-2025) and Strategic Planning Committee (2024-2025) in our Rotary District.

 

Rob resides in Belwood, Ontario and has been married to his wife Donna-Lynn since 1987.
