Greetings Rotarians, Presidents and D7080 Leaders:
You will recall that a few months ago we reviewed the RI COL process at your President's and Council meetings. At that time I invited input from each of you regarding the proposed COL resolutions which have been published on the www.rotary.org website.
I want to thank the few of you who provided me with feedback and comments as requested. This has been helpful and your opportunity to determine the future of Rotary through the policies and procedures we use to govern our organization.
After several months of discussion and preparation, I am off to Chicago soon to represent you at this important parliamentary process. All together there will be 532 of us, one representing each district.
I invite any last minute discussion or feedback from anyone in the District who would like to share their viewpoint. This is part of Rotary's democratic process each three years and we want to ensure all our member's are heard.
As time permits, I will try to advise you of the deliberation and results throughout next week's exhaustive experience. I am hoping this will be available though either RI or District web pages.
It is the Rotary member who is at the top of our organization.
It is the Rotary member who can influence and determine the
direction Rotary takes on this journey.
Remember, The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands as we generate Peace Through Service.
