About Rotaract

Rotaract is a non-profit service club for students and young professionals ages 18 to 35. Rotaract is a non-profit service club for students and young professionals, aged 18 to 35. There are more than 8,200 Rotaract clubs in over 150 countries worldwide!

 
What Does Rotaract Do?
 
Rotaract believes in the motto "Service Above Self".  Members have the opportunity to help local charities, work on international development projects, and organize fundraising events. They also plan social activities from Halloween parties to going to Theatre in the Park.
 
Most Rotaract Clubs meet every week or two to organize upcoming events, discuss potential new projects, and keep in touch with other club members.
 
Why Should You Get Involved?
 
Here's what you can expect from becoming a Rotaractor:
 
  • Have loads of fun while making new friends
  • Work on local and international projects with other young professionals 
  • Gain leadership skills through hands-on projects
  • Learn new skills through Rotary's many training programs
  • Enhance public speaking skills through Rotary's affiliation with Toastmasters

  • Know that your efforts are helping people in need, locally and internationally
Rotaract projects are typically linked to one of the following Areas of Focus:  Clean Water & Sanitation, The Environment, Maternal & Child Health,  Disease Prevention, Economic Development, Basic Education & Literacy, and Peace and Conflict Resolution.

There are currently nine Rotaract clubs in District 7080, but we are always looking to expand our network. Click on a link above to find out about a Rotaract Club near you or contact your local Rotary club to find out about young professionals in your area.
