Happening on Sunday , June 23rd
Tour de Guelph is a community fundraiser cycling event organized jointly by the Rotary Club of Guelph South and Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium along with the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital. Tour de Guelph is held on the fourth Sunday in June, and is much anticipated by cyclists, cycling groups, and families who enjoy a chance to get out and ride together for an important cause.
About 700 cyclists participate and fundraise for Tour de Guelph each year. Rotarians volunteer by helping to organize the event, and by making the event day memorable and safe for everyone.
The majority of the funds raised support the purchase of essential patient care equipment at Guelph General Hospital. The two Rotary Clubs also share a portion of the net proceeds to fund other community and international projects through our club funding allocations. In its first ten years, Tour de Guelph has raised over $ 1 Million for Guelph General Hospital and Rotary-supported projects and charities.
If you are in the area, why not come and join us on the morning of June 23rd. We have routes ranging from 5 kms to100 kms. All routes emphasis run and safety – it is not a race, just a great community event. You can find full event and registration information at our website www.tourdeguelph.ca .
Come to Guelph and join in the fun!
