Updates From the  Brampton Cluster

A variety of events have kept the Brampton clubs busy in the last couple of months .Here is what they have been up to :
 
Brampton Raises the Flag on World Polio Day
 
 
On October 24th, Brampton Rotarians raised a flag at Brampton City Hall to recognize World Polio Day .Arranged By Badar Shamim, Presidents of the Brampton clubs spoke to the assembled crowd along with Mayor Patrick Brown and 7080 District Governor Sohail Naseer and PDG Kathi Dick. Mayor Brown then raised the flag.
 
    
 
 
 
Tree Planting 
 
 
Brampton Flower City Centennial Rotary Club planted 145 native trees last month. They  had a little help from future Rotarians too. Congratulations to Past President Peter Scaramuzzo for organizing this important event. 
 
   
 
An Evening With Mozart in Brampton
 
Last month, the Rotary club of Brampton, along with guests were entertained in an amazing evening of music to raise funds for the Rose Theatre orchestra. Past President Dittie Voegele and her team, who were all dressed beautifully in historic attire,  did a delightful job of decorating the hall and the musicians provided a fabulous selection of music which was accompanied by a wonderful soprano. A beautiful historic harp was played skillfully and wonderfully 
 
Everyone there enjoyed the experience so much that they have promised to return next year to bring their friends. Congratulations to Brampton Rotary club on a fabulous event!
 
   
 
 
Supporting Bethell Hospice 
 
A group of dedicated Rotarians from The Rotary Club of Brampton Heart Lake and their friends volunteer many hours at Delta Bingo and this enables them to support many local organizations  such as Bethell Hospice who were glad to accept a $10,000 cheque recently.
