A Once In A Lifetime Project 
 
A once in a lifetime project, the Credit Valley Trail will be a 100 km pathway through the Credit  River Valley – from the hills of the headwaters in Orangeville to Lake Ontario at Port Credit, Mississauga. The trail will connect communities to the beauty of nature, Indigenous heritage  and values, rich cultural experiences and sustaining the waters of the Credit River. 
 
Rotary Meadowvale members and guests had the pleasure of viewing a presentation by the  Executive Director of the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation, Dayana Gomez to hear about  the initiative to connect the remaining 68 kms to the existing 32 kms of trail that are already  connected. They are currently working to secure five key environmental properties that will  provide an optimal route for the Credit Valley Trail in Mississauga and Brampton. The closing  costs for each of these properties can range from $30k to $50K.
